Born in Genoa and inspired by the travels of Marco Polo, Christopher Columbus headed out to the open ocean in search of a western route to Asia and brought back to Spain the riches of the New World. Having unified Spain under their Catholic rule and having sponsored Columbus' voyage, Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand made Seville the center of the Spanish Empire upon his return. Explore this controversial period of Spanish history with local historians and artisans and enjoy its contributions to world music, dance and food.
Meals and accommodations included. Enjoy the tapas, Iberico ham and of course sangria! Various dietary requirements can be met. Accommodation in the centre of Seville with air conditioning, laundry facilities and terrace. Wifi as well as lift access available.
