Seoul: The Great Joseon (May 2026)
Study Trip Overview
It was during the Joseon period (1392 - 1910) that Korea developed its unique cultural identity. Confucian ideals were promoted by the Joseon kings and became the guiding philosophy for governance and society. Much of modern Korean culture, including the etiquette, societal norms and language, come from this period. Explore this evolution of this Korean culture through talks and workshops led by local historians, artisans and other experts.
Meals and accommodation included. Enjoy the bibimbop, bulgogi and other items from the family tables of Korea. Various dietary requirements can be met. Accommodation in the centre of Seoul with air conditioning, laundry facilities and terrace. Wifi as well as lift access available.
