Study Trip Overview
The foundations of France's dominance in the fine art of dining were laid by the "Sun King" Louis XIV. He asserted his supremacy through lavish entertainment, pompous ceremony and a highly codified system of etiquette from his seat in Versailles. Through interactions with our local experts and artisans, discover what trade with the East and West in the 17th and 18th centuries brought to the aristocratic tables of France.
Lunches are included as a part of our day programme. Enjoy the breadth of French cuisine, including the world-famous pastries. Various dietary requirements can be met.

The Camargue (Oct 2024 / Apr 2025)
Study Trip Overview
A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Camargue sits where the Petit Rhône and Grand Rhône meet the Mediterranean. With wild horses and pink flamingos, this is the Wild West of France. Discover not only the abundant wildlife but also what Medieval life was like in this region.
Local meals and accommodation are included in the programme fee. Ensuite double occupancy. Various dietary requirements can be met.

Let the local historians, experts and artisans of our Provence tour guide you through the impact that these cultures had on the food and art in this region.
